We are currently looking for additional sponsors for our House League and Rep teams. The Markham Minor Lacrosse Association is a non-profit lacrosse association, which is part of the larger Ontario Lacrosse Association. Our association’s boundaries cover Markham, Richmond Hill and Stouffville. MMLA was formed in 1962 and over the years MMLA has received a number of Provincial banners and the Association continues to grow, even today. This year, 2012, our association has grown to such a point that we have added yet another division (Paperweight) which means we now have teams for children aged 3-21 years old!
MMLA will continue a long tradition of developing outstanding lacrosse players, winning teams, and responsible young citizens by introducing young and developing players to competitive play. However, because of the rising cost of floor time for practices, uniforms, equipment, travel, insurance and registration fees, the support of sponsors has become just as necessary to the association’s success as dedication and hard work.
