Mission
The Markham Minor Lacrosse Association is committed to providing recreational and competitive programs at all levels. All participants including players, coaches and referees will be given the opportunity to develop his or her skills in a fun and safe environment.

History
The Markham Minor Lacrosse Association was formed in 1962 and continued until 1971. After a hiatus the association was reestablished in 1990 with one (1) PeeWee team. In 1991 a Bantam team was added. The following year (1992) Novice and Midget teams were included. In the mid 1990's the league was expanded from Tyke to the Intermediate Divisions. Through the growth years Markam received a number of Provincial banners and the Association  continued to grow to over 500 players by 2003.
